Adult Pottery Classes
BEGINNING WHEEL
Always wanted to play with clay? This class will allow you to learn the fundamental techniques of creating utilitarian vessels on the potter’s wheel. Emphasis will be on cylindrical forms such as mugs, pitchers, jars, and vases.

BEYOND BEGINNING / ONGOING WHEEL
Students with some experience explore covered jars, bowls, and plates. Refine everything! Play with rims, feet, texture, slip, glaze, altering and primitive firing.
7 Week Classes

January 9 – January 30, 6:30-9pm $100 plus a $10 annual spray booth fee.

Wednesdays
February 29 – March 28, 6:30-9pm $170
All class fees include a 25lb. bag of clay, tools, glazes, and firing. Extra clay can be purchased at Murray Hill Pottery Works. Additional studio time to practice is available to all students.
ONE NIGHT STANDS
$25 - Fridays, 7-9pm

REGISTRATION
Advanced registration is required for all classes. Classes are limited to 8 students for individualized instruction. Please call 414-332-8828 or e-mail murrayhillpottery@gmail.com to reserve space.
MEMBERSHIPS
Persons with experience may purchase access to the studio during open hours. The cost is $200 to be used over 3 months. Clay must be purchased from MHPW.
Refund Policy
Places in class will be held only upon receipt of entire class fee. Fees are refundable minus $10 processing fee up to seven days before class begins. Cancellation of class between 6 and 3 days before class begins are subject to a $25 processing fee. Class fees are nonrefundable after that time unless class is canceled by Murray Hill Pottery.
